How do I pay for my dogs stay with you?

For daycare and date night cash is preferred. We can also accept direct deposits and also have credit card tap and go facilities

Is someone always at home to supervise our dogs?

Yes, there is always somebody at home either playing with them or not too far away.... possibly on the lounge next to them.

What do we need to bring for daycare?

First time guests will need to fill out a registration form otherwise just their leash and collar / harness. They will get small training treats during the day, feel free to bring your own if needed. We have tons of toys, bedding, etc. Boarding has a seperate set of requirements that we can discuss as required.

What does a typical day at Oodles by the Sea look like?

Morning arrival, meet and greet with the other guests - this can be a very exciting time meeting new friends or catching up. Play mingle in yard. Lots of toys, activities, bubble chase, etc. Daily walking (30 to 45 minutes) depending on their energy levels, this can be down to the bay or along the beach. Plenty of opportunity for downtime as needed with large yard, deck and rear of house and this usually occurs around midday to 1pm. The afternoon will have some more relaxed play and activities some some basic training skills.

What happens if my dog becomes sick while staying with you?

Our registration form collects your vetinary information so we can contact them if needed. If there is an emergency we are not far from several vets and a 24x7 practice. We will always try to contact you or the alternate contact in the first instance if practicable. If we are unable to reach either party then we will be guided by the vetinary advice, no guest will be put at risk if we are unable to contact yourself or the alternate – safety first!
